Every Vanclaes is produced entirely in-house with the most modern methods. Carefully selected suppliers ensure a constant quality of the materials. The precision is guaranteed by the most modern laser cutting techniques. In addition, Vanclaes only opts for the most modern and sustainable preservation methods such as KTL and powder coating.

METAL PROCESSING

In the componend production we have +/- 10 welding boxes, a 130-ton press brake in the sheet metal workshop, a saw and drilling machine and various other conventional metalworking machines. It is fascinating to see how the steel production and the stainless steel production are carried out completely separate from each other in order to come together again later in one product. All parts are provided with barcodes and by working with smart molds and fittings, a flawless production of the modular componend products is a fact. After welding, sawing or drilling, all stainless steel parts are stained mechanically by means of blasting and polishing. In this way, both the repeating parts and the deviating parts are produced in precisely tuned series every day to be ready in time for both the sub-assembly and the final product assembly.

SUB ASSEMBLY PRODUCTION

In the sub-assembly production, Vanclaes has 7 ergonomically designed workstations where various standardized sub-assembly items are made, such as the extendable lamp units, mudguards, roller systems. Through the use of smart ERP software, stocks are monitored and replenished in time so that the end production line can continue at all times and no downtime can occur.

Final assembly

The Vanclaes boat trailers are the first boat trailers in the world that are completely customer-specific and therefore order-driven, built from modular standardized components. All parts and components to be used are therefore already present along the production lines prior to assembly, but how and what exactly to assemble is determined from the sales order. Due to the ultimate precision and dimensional stability from the previous production processes, we are able to implement this modular building according to customer requirements very quickly and efficiently, so that the entire lead time of a customized Vanclaes boat trailer only has 3 to 4 weeks. These unique fast delivery times in combination with the high quality, functionality and delivery reliability make Vanclaes a highly sought after supplier for its dealers, partners and customers in more than 20 countries.

PROJECTS AND TAILERMADE PRODUCTION

We have set up a special room in the Vanclaes factory for the production of tailermade work and special projects and / or different serie production. At Vanclaes, after all, we make more than just boat trailers. For example, Vanclaes Marina Equipment sells dozens of garden trailers, tender launch systems for super yachts and boat storage systems per year, which are manufactured in-house after project engineering.

TRUST IS GOOD BUT CONTROL IS BETTER

All products that Vanclaes produces, purchases, or for which external sustainability is made after production, are checked for quality, quantity and any necessary specifications by the entrance check. When a Vanclaes product has gone through the final phase of assembly, it is always fully checked at many specific control points established for the relevant product. Only after the check document has been signed, a product is ready to be released for delivery. Vanclaes does everything it can to make and deliver a beautiful, good and honest product and we try to get a little better every day with the entire Vanclaes team.
